Pilkington is a global glass manufacturer with a strong position as a supplier of glass substrates for the photovoltaic industry. Pilkington is particularly active in the development of TCO coated substrates for thin film photovoltaics and is probably the largest supplier of substrates for manufacture of thin film silicon and Cd-Te modules.
